Through our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) programs, students are encouraged to pursue their passions, challenge themselves, and achieve their goals. Whether performing in dance programs, representing the school at sporting competitions, participating in online competitions, or excelling in other areas of talent, students are supported to reach their full potential and celebrate their achievements.

Principal's message
"Hi my name is Lesley Mills and I am the Principal at Casino West Public School.
I have a deep passion for equity in education and believe that our schools should be an engaging and stimulating learning environment for all of our children. I enjoy teaching children to build on their strengths and realise the opportunities available for them to follow their dreams in today’s world.
I have over 30 years experience in education and was recently awarded an Australian Teaching Fellowing for innovation and improving learning outcomes for children.
In 2020 I was awarded the NSW Primary Principals Association Aboriginal Education Award for commitment to Aboriginal education in the Bundjalung Nation of Northern NSW.
My interests are dancing, travelling, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
I look forward to working with the whole school community to provide our children and their families with a positive and caring educational experience."
