A year at our school

We are thrilled to announce that our talented Year 5/6 students have been selected to perform at the 2025 School Spectacular in Sydney! This incredible opportunity is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and passion for dance. The School Spectacular is renowned for showcasing young performers from across the region, and our students will have the chance to shine on a grand stage. This experience not only provides a platform for our students to display their talent but also encourages personal growth and teamwork. We are immensely proud of their achievement and look forward to supporting them as they prepare for this unforgettable event.

Congratulations to Abraham, Addison, and Hope on their upcoming participation in the state PSSA athletics in Sydney! It's a significant accomplishment to reach this level of competition, and all three students should be proud of their hard work and dedication. A special shout out to Abraham for his remarkable achievement in breaking the North Coast shot put record—an impressive feat that showcases both talent and determination. As they prepare for the event, we wish them the best of luck and hope they enjoy every moment of this thrilling experience. Their community supports them and looks forward to celebrating their successes!

Congratulations to Max and Emily for their participation in the NSW Premier's Spelling Bee earlier this year! Max's progression to the next level is an especially impressive feat, indicating not only his proficiency with words but also his composure under pressure. Emily’s participation is equally commendable, as it reflects her courage and willingness to engage in challenging academic pursuits. Both students should be proud of their accomplishments, and their experiences will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and confidence in future endeavors.

In Week 5, we hosted our Bi-annual Art Show, which turned out to be a fantastic evening that raised over $2,000, thanks to the generous contributions from local businesses and the community. It was truly inspiring to witness the remarkable artwork produced by our talented students and adults alike. Congratulations to all the winners, runners-up, and those who received high commendations in each category. A special shout-out goes to Lid Howard for winning the Richmond Valley People's Choice Award. The first-place winning artworks are currently showcased at Windara and will be on display until Friday, September 5.
