Indoor and Outdoor Learning environments

Our indoor and outdoor learning environments reflect children's spontanious interests and offer a variety of provisions and provocations for children to explore and extend through their play.

At Little Jarjums, we support children in demonstrating a sense of agency by allowing them to make decisions about their own play and learning. This is represented through the daily rhythm and learning environment. Children move freely from the inside and outside learning environments depending on their wants and needs. We provide a variety of both passive and active learning environments which promotes choice and decision making.

Play based learning experiences are intentionally planned to promote higher order thinking through exploring, investigating, hypothesising, problem solving, experimenting and reflecting. As children engage in learning and play, they are developing these skills and beginning to understand key concepts that will become the foundation for their future learning at school and beyond.
