Introducing the 2021 Student Representative Council

2021 Student Representative Councillors

We are delighted to introduce our 2021 Student Representative Council.

Madison M, Karbi B, Alex F, Phoenix B-S, Lauren G, Ebony P, Jazmyn J, Jamila Y and Amira M.

Recently Casino West Public School held the 2021 Student Councillor Investiture.

The Student Council Pledge was proudly spoken by all students.

Student Council Pledge:

  • I will do my best to be a good leader in our school.
  • I will respect our rules and help other students to follow the rules.
  • I will co-operate with teachers and be a good role model for other students.
  • I will represent our school with pride and do all I can to promote the name of this school in our community.
  • This I solemnly promise.

Our School Captains have since shared what they value about Casino  West Public School.

Girls School Captain, Lauren: For me meeting new teachers has been the best thing about our school. I love the sport that is offered such as netball and swimming. We have great rewards for attendance such as jumping castles and water slides and positive behaviour rewards like ice cream sundaes.

When I finish school I hope to become a zookeeper.

As the school captain this year I hope to be the voice for students at Casino West.

Boys School Captain, Alex: My favourite memory of Casino West is when Mrs Mills came to the school because she is a fair person.

I love our school because of all the attendance rewards, especially the water slide last year. It was great fun.

When I finish school I hope to be a businessman. I will start at the bottom and work my way to the top.

As the school captain this year I will be a good role model and encourage others to be their best.

Casino West Public School is a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school with high expectations and an experienced staff who ensure all students are known, valued and cared for. We are big enough to have large sporting teams and small enough to develop personal learning plans for all of our students. There are nine mainstream classes and our Support Unit consists of three classes. Our principal Mrs Lesley Mills would be happy to hear from you if you were interested in enrolling your child at our school.
