In the support classes, we are always looking for ways to challenge our students. Recently, Dylan and Maxwell received awards for their achievements in an Australian Mathematics competition they entered. The competition is one of Australia’s largest school-based mathematics competitions and it featured 30 problems that challenged and extended their problem-solving skills.
Dylan has also entered several Writing competitions this year. He just received a certificate for the Write-On competition where they received over 640 entries. He had to compose an imaginative text of up to 500 words, using a provided image as a stimulus. He waits to hear how he went in the Dymocks Beyond Words competition.
